Los Angeles, CA, August 2025 – Earlier this month, Alex Shekhtman, CEO of LBC Mortgage, was invited to speak at a closed virtual event for a private community of aspiring homebuyers and future real estate investors. The focus: building wealth through homeownership, improving financial literacy, and taking the first steps into U.S. real estate – no matter your background or budget.

Throughout the session, Shekhtman emphasized the need for more financial education in the real estate space – especially for first-generation buyers and those without industry connections.
“There’s a gap between what people should know and what they’re actually told,” he said. “Our job is to help close that gap, and that’s why we keep showing up at events like this.”
